Giving back with sata

Since 2022, the Savannah Challenger has partnered with the nonprofit organization, Savannah Area Tennis Association (SATA), to give back to local, underserved children who play tennis in Chatham County.

Once again, the Savannah Challenger will be supporting the mission of the Savannah Area Tennis Association in their work in community tennis education efforts for underserved youth.

Ladies Day

Sponsored by:

SATA is excited to host Ladies Day at the Savannah Challenger! On Wednesday, April 26th, Ladies Day will feature multiple shopping vendors, special menu and drink offerings, and access to all courts to watch professional tennis throughout the day.

Swing by the SATA table for a free gift (while supplies last). Ladies may purchase discounted tickets online or on site.

About SATA

Savannah Area Tennis Association (SATA) is a non-profit designed to promote tennis and healthy living in the Savannah, GA, area. As a subset of the United States Tennis Association (USTA), SATA organizes leagues, outreach programs and casual tennis events.

SATA will be holding a silent auction throughout the event to raise funds to help deliver tennis programming to underserved populations and groups. SATA’s award-winning programs can make a big difference in a child’s life.

Proceeds from the inaugural 2022 Challenger silent auction will benefit SATA’s educational programs. The auction will feature a selection of quality tennis themed items.

Bidding can be done at the tournament. (Checks and credit cards accepted. There will be “buy now” items available).

Help SATA Grow Tennis!

Make a gift today to help grow tennis in our local community. Your donation will go toward purchasing equipment for programs such as Special Pops and Frank Callen Boys and Girls Club.

Get Involved!

Without volunteers, SATA wouldn't be able to hold leagues, tournaments, community outreach programs, and social events. No matter what your skills or interests, SATA has opportunities for you!
