Giving back with sata

In 2022, the Savannah Challenger partnered with the nonprofit organization, Savannah Area Tennis Association (SATA), to give back to local, underserved children who play tennis in Chatham County.

Once again, the 2023 Savannah Challenger will be supporting the mission of SATA in their work in community tennis education efforts for underserved youth.

About SATA

Savannah Area Tennis Association (SATA) is a non-profit designed to promote tennis and healthy living in the Savannah, GA, area. As a subset of the United States Tennis Association (USTA), SATA organizes leagues, outreach programs and casual tennis events.

SATA will be holding a silent auction throughout the event to raise funds to help deliver tennis programming to underserved populations and groups. SATA’s award-winning programs can make a big difference in a child’s life.

Proceeds from the inaugural 2022 Challenger silent auction will benefit SATA’s educational programs. The auction will feature a selection of quality tennis themed items.

Bidding can be done at the tournament. (Checks and credit cards accepted. There will be “buy now” items available).

Get Involved!

Without volunteers, SATA wouldn't be able to hold leagues, tournaments, community outreach programs, and social events. No matter what your skills or interests, SATA has opportunities for you!
